The Process
Coravin uses an ultra-thin medical-grade needle that gently passes through the natural cork without damaging it.
Wine is then extracted without any oxygen entering the bottle preventing oxidation entirely. The empty space is filled with pure argon gas, an inert gas widely used in oenology to protect wines.
When the needle is removed, the cork reseals naturally, keeping the bottle perfectly preserved.
